Ben Shan Anxi
One of our favorites, the Ben Shan is a unique varietal from the famous Anxi region of the Fujian province in China. The tea is a classic oolong with a low level of oxidation, making this tea a full bodied, flavorful selection. Created using the traditional roll of the Anxi Mountain region, the Ben Shan is only lightly roasted, allowing the complex, yet subtle, flavors to emerge in your cup. The tea brews to a delightful golden hue, with light floral notes and hints of nuttiness amidst the traditional oolong flavors.
How to Brew this Tea:
Amount of Tea per 6 oz water – 1 teaspoon
Water Temperature - 190º
Time of Steeping - 2-4 minutes
