Teas that are harvested after the Monsoon rains, between mid October and November are called the “autumnal” flush. They are similar in flavor profile to the second flush teas with rich, bold and complex flavors. Traditionally not considered to be as fine as the other flushes, improvements in production methods have resulted in a number of high quality autumnal Darjeeling teas today.
