After being dormant from November through February, and at the first hint of spring, the tea bushes produce their early season buds. These are called the “First Flush teas, and they tend to look like a green tea. The flavor is delicate, yet pronounced with the aromatic floral flavors and a finish of desireable astringency. In the cup, the liquor appears clear, bright, with a light yellow hue.

This tea is from the heralded estate of Gopaldhara.
