This organic tea is grown at high altitudes in the mountains of the Anhui province of China. This fine black tea shows diligent craftsmanship with uniform, slender, tightly rolled leaves. Oxidized in the sun, the leaves turn a deep black color with fine golden tips. Brighten your mornings with a cup of this incredible selection.

Keemun was originally produced in the Qimen (“Chee-Mun) County of the Anhui region in the late 19th century. The cultivar is now grown throughout the province. The tea leaves are processed slowly to enhance the flavor profile and aromatics. Grown at around 1700 feet in a humid, monsoon heavy climate the tea trees experience heavy rains in the summer months, and cold, dry winter months.

An almond colored liquor has rich aromas of cocoa. The malty flavor develops into a bright, buttery finish.
