After the newly sprouted leaves have been plucked, they are withered in the sun for a few hours to reduce moisture. Once a suitable suppleness is achieved in the leaves, a delicate sideways rolling of the leaves is performed in conjunction with light roasting. The leaves are minimally oxidized and maintain a vibrant, green color. Medium body, floral with a subtle hint of sweetness and creamy finish.
How to Brew this Tea:
Amount of Tea per 6 oz water – 1 teaspoon
Water Temperature - 195º - 203º
Time of Steeping - 2.5-3 minutes
Iced Tea: Brew as above and chill or double the amount of tea and pour over a full glass of ice.
