Bamboo has been used to store aged puerh tea for over a thousand years. Young, hollow bamboo stalks are harvested each year, packed with 100g of leaves, sealed, and roasted over a wood fire. This process imparts a light touch of sweet, grassy bamboo to the final brew. Add this unique tea to your collection or give it as a perfect gift for tea lovers.

Open the bamboo stalk by splitting it with a knife, break off one teaspoon for each six ounces of water, and close the two halves of the bamboo with a band or tie. Briefly rinse the leaves, then steep up to 5 times, slightly longer for each steep.

The reddish amber liquor has a light, woody aroma. The flavor is bold, and fresh with a clean finish. Light, earthy top notes lead to umami midtones with a grassy touch.
