Rooibos - Organic

Rooibos (pronounced “Roy-Boss”) means “red bush” in Afrikaans. The leaves of this evergreen-like bush are native to South Africa. When steeped they produce a luscious ruby-red color and tasty herbal brew free of caffeine. The leaves undergo oxidation which turns a distinctive reddish-brown color, while enhancing flavor. Rooibos tea is prepared in the same manner as other teas and herbal brews; a little sweetener, milk or lemon further enlivens this special botanical.
