The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is a gift to the City of Boulder from their sister city, Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The Teahouse is rich with elaborate and ornate hand carved and painted ceilings, walls, and columns, featuring the traditional arts of Tajikistan, ancient Persia, and Central Asia. Today, these arts are finding new audiences and there's a deep need for these skills to be taught to the next generation of artisans. The purchase of this tea supports our efforts to educate about and support the continuation of the traditional art forms of Tajikistan and Central Asia.
