These small puerh tea cakes are formed into a small bowl, reminiscent of a hummingbird nest. Quality Tuocha starts with quality leaves, and is then allowed to age to bring out the mellow complexity. Tuocha is one of the more familiar styles of Puerh on the market today, so care must be taken to purchase a quality selection. Add this probiotic tea to your morning routine or enjoy it after a meal.

Unwrap the packed leaves and rinse them in hot water for a few seconds, allowing them to absorb enough water to loosen the leaves. Pour out the rinse water and steep the leaves with boiling water. Resteep the leaves until they begin to lose flavor.

A deep amber brew is introduced by a fresh, earthy aroma. The flavor is bright, and smooth with a light, lingering finish. Earthy top notes lead to mid tones of umami with a light smokiness.
