This blend of Kukicha, Matcha, and tart Yuzu peel is a truly unique delight, incorporating many of the signature flavors of Japanese tea and cuisine. Yuzu is a citrus fruit native to East Asia and is often described as a blend between a lemon and an orange. Mixed with the earthy flavors of matcha it creates a flavorful and unique tea. The leaves and stems of the Kukicha are needle like and covered in the vibrant green Matcha. Bits of Yuzu peel are dotted throughout the blend giving off a sharp aroma of earthy citrus. Once brewed the leaves become mash like, offering the scent of cooked lemon.
