Zhu Ye Qing is a Chinese green tea grown in Sichuan Province, located in central China, just north of the historic tea growing region of Yunnan Province. This selection is complex and elegant with developing aromas and flavors. Show off these premium leaves to your more experienced friends and family.

The young, dry leaves are medium in length, uniform, and unbroken, rolled a single time around the top bud. They have a lightly spiced, bamboo fragrance before brewing. Once brewed the leaves can be unfurled to reveal a bright green color, and flat, unbroken leaves with a ripe, sweet fragrance.

A pale yellow cup is introduced by a light, toasty aroma. The flavor is rich, grassy, and ripe with a touch of brine, finishing with a lingering bamboo note. Light, spicy top notes give way to grassy mid tones, with a touch of bamboo at the end.
