This herbal brew is made from the beautiful Hibiscus sabdariffa flower. Hibiscus tea is popular worldwide with its deep ruby-pink-red colors and a universally pleasant flavor. Hibiscus is quite tangy-tart and therefore some like to stir in honey or raw sugar. When served strong, chilled and iced, hibiscus tea is our go-to-summer beverage. It’s absolutely cooling, refreshing, satisfying…sans caffeine no less. Brew an extra big batch, add pieces of fresh fruit, maybe a splash of fresh juice or red wine and viola’ – herbal sangria!
