Silver Needle (“Bai Hao Yin Zhen”) is the most revered of Chinese White teas. This exceptional white tea is gathered and dried for a few days each early spring within Fujian province; soft, downy tea buds are gently withered (air dried). The taste is quite subtle with a coy sweetness and the faintest flavor notes of fresh garden honeysuckle blossoms. Silver Needle brewed ‘liquor’ (brewed tea) is a pale ivory-yellow hue. Astringency is minimal with an airy, freshing feeling exuding from each satisfying cup.
