The dry leaves are dark green, twisted into small spirals with light white tips. They have a sweet, grassy aroma before brewing. Once brewed the leaves have a more vibrant sage green color, and the aromas are opened.
A faint green liquor has a bright, smooth aroma. The flavor is full bodied, and slightly sweet with a delicate, lingering finish. Bright, citrusy top notes lead to full, grassy mid tones, with a light, nutty end note.
