Each of these tea pearls are created by handrolling fresh, young jasmine buds with green tea leaves. The jasmine flowers are harvested every spring in the Fujian province of China to get the finest fragrance. Brew this selection two to three times to allow the aromas to blossom from the Jasmine flowers inside.

The Jasmine plant is said to have been first introduced to China during the Han dynasty (206 BCE - 220 CE), being brought to the country from India. Jasmine tea was then created and refined over centuries. The product was then popularized internationally during the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912 CE) with large quantities being exported to western countries.
