This incredible Yunnan tea is hand-crafted in the southwestern Chinese province. Each cone of leaves is hand-tied, blossoming when submerged in hot water. The result is a beautiful display of visuals, aromatics, and flavors. Include this selection in gifts for tea lovers and connoisseurs. Brew each bulb two to three times without bitterness or astringency.
Leaves from this region are traditionally processed similar to modern day Puerh. Dianhong is a more contemporary style of processing that features fine leaf buds with many golden tips. This method originated in the early 20th century and results in a product more similar to black tea. Leaves processed in this contemporary style are bound together to create this incredible, unique tea.
This reddish tinted selection has rich aromas of malt, bright flavors of honey, and a smooth, buttery finish.
