The Chinese name, San Bei Xiang, means “Three Cups Fragrance” because even after steeping three times, this tea will still yield a good cup. When brewed with care, this tea has a delightful herbaceous taste; it is a strong tea though, don’t let it get bitter from over steeping. Cultivated in Southern Zhejiang Province near the Fujian border.
How to Brew this Tea:
Amount of Tea per 6 oz water – 1 heaping teaspoon
Water Temperature - 170° -185°
Time of Steeping - 1-2 minutes
